Whitworth University’s fall art exhibit, “The Devil Is in the Details,” explores the idea of making as knowledge. The artwork in this exhibition unleashes the possibilities of material, process and content to absurd, evocative and delightful ends. The exhibiting artists are Benjamin DeMott, Claire Hedden, Elisabeth Higgins O’Connor, Andy Messerschmidt and Joetta Maue.

Whitworth again named Washington Monthly’s No. 1 master’s-level university in Pacific Northwest

For the fourth consecutive year, Whitworth has been named Washington Monthly’s highest-ranking master’s-level university in the Pacific Northwest. Whitworth ranks No. 12 among 673 colleges and universities nationwide. Washington Monthly magazine was founded in 1969 and is based in Washington, D.C.

Whitworth joins some of the most prestigious schools in the country in the magazine’s latest rankings, where it is listed as one of the top 10 private schools in the Pacific Northwest.
