Whitworth to host Governor Inslee’s Advisor for Trade Policy Robert Hamilton, March 6

Ben Spaun, ’08, is the co-author of “Order of Magnitude Smaller Limit on the Electric Dipole Moment of the Electron,” which was recently the cover story for Science, one of the most prestigious scientific journals in the world.
Whitworth Theatre to stage “Pride and Prejudice”

The spring Whitworth Theatre production will feature “Pride and Prejudice.” Performances will take place March 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m., and March 9 at 2 p.m., in Cowles Auditorium at Whitworth University. General admission is $8, and $6 for students and senior citizens (age 62+). Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.whitworth.edu/theatretickets. Award-winning author, poet Julia Kasdorf to give Whitworth’s 2014 Simpson-Duvall Reading

Scholars among 59 diverse students from the Pacific Northwest to receive award
Whitworth and Gonzaga universities will welcome 16 new Act Six Scholars to the incoming class of 2018. The eight scholars entering Whitworth and eight entering Gonzaga are among 59 students from the Pacific Northwest to receive full college scholarships as members of the latest Act Six cohort.
