Whitworth Welcomes Grammy-Winning Trumpeter Brian Lynch for Jazz Clinic and Concert April 14-15

Whitworth University is pleased to announce its Guest Artist Jazz Concert will feature multi-Grammy award-winning trumpeter and composer Brian Lynch on Saturday, April 15, at 8 p.m. at the Bing Crosby Theater. Lynch will perform arrangements and original compositions with the nationally recognized Whitworth Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Jared Hall, assistant professor of music.

Whitworth to Launch School of Health Sciences to Meet Growing Demand

In April, Whitworth University will form the School of Health Sciences to house Whitworth’s undergraduate health sciences department, doctoral programs in occupational and physical therapy, Master of Science in Athletic Training program, and pre-nursing program. Whitworth is launching the school with the desire to best prepare graduates to serve people and communities in a variety of health and wellness careers and to enhance the university’s ability to respond to employers’ emerging needs.
