Whitworth University welcomes Father Brian Kolodiejchuk, author of Mother Teresa: Come Be My Light (The Private Writings of The Saint of Calcutta) and Jesus is My All in All: Praying with the "Saint of Calcutta” on April 2 at 7 p.m. in Weyerhaeuser Hall’s Robinson Teaching Theatre.

Whitworth University has been ranked No. 15 among small schools on the Peace Corps’ list of the top volunteer-producing colleges and universities in 2019. Currently 10 Pirates are volunteering in countries around the world.

Families, schools, and communities are celebrating in Spokane. Act Six announced today that eight emerging urban and community leaders from Spokane will receive scholarships to Whitworth University and Gonzaga University. Colleges will provide full-tuition, full-need scholarships over four years.
Whitworth’s Ethics Bowl Team Wins National Title in Maryland

Whitworth’s Ethics Bowl team, the Philosoraptors, won the National Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl, held March 2-3 at the annual meeting of the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics in Baltimore. This is the team's third national title in the past eight years.
