Whitworth Partners With REACH West Central To Build Air Purifiers for Community Members

Whitworth University’s Dornsife Center for Community Engagement has teamed up with REACH West Central to distribute dozens of free air purifiers to the residents of the West Central neighborhood. The air purifiers will be given away at the West Central Neighbor Day event on June 3 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. in A.M. Cannon Park at the West Central Community Center.

Whitworth University is pleased to announce retired U.S. Navy Admiral James Stavridis, NATO’s 16th Supreme Allied Commander Europe and 15th Commander of the U.S. European Command (2009-2013), will be the featured speaker at the university’s President’s Leadership Forum on Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Spokane Convention Center. Lunch will be served.

Whitworth “Shark Tank” Competition Highlights Community Health Majors’ Senior Projects

Whitworth community health majors are in it to win it! Seven seniors will compete in the 2022 Community Health Shark Tank event on Thursday, May 12, in the Dornsife Health Sciences Building, Room 125, from 12:30-2 p.m.
