Whitworth University’s Senior Art and Design Majors Celebrated Online
April 27, 2020
The Whitworth University Art Department is proud to present the 2020 senior exhibition. This year, the students will be celebrated in an online gallery.
Each individual artist will be presenting their work and writing in four blog posts at www.whitworthart.com through Sunday, May 17.
“This year’s senior art and design majors are presenting eclectic and engaging work in a wide variety of media,” says Lance Sinnema, art department senior lecturer and director of the Bryan Oliver Gallery. “The shift from an in-person exhibit of this work to telling their individual stories through a blog has been necessitated by the ongoing health crisis. Though we have moved to online learning models, it is still the intention of the art department to provide an ‘exhibit’ opportunity where we can highlight the abilities and achievements of our majors.”
The artists include: Colleen Bell Craig, Kurt Blackman, Camryn Breneman, Brianna Carbaugh, Ben College, Hannah Galbraith, Marissa Gibson, Daniel Miller, Madisen Montovino, Rachel Prior, Katelyn Rinehart, Maria Smith, Andy Weeks and Rebecca Young.
