Celebrating the Power of the Pacific at Whitworth’s 52nd Annual Lū‘au

March 26, 2024

Join Whitworth’s Polynesian Club on Saturday, April 27, for the 52nd Lū‘au. It’s a time for the Whitworth community to gather to share food and culture in a unique, enriching way.

This year’s theme is “Mana O Ka Pasifika” (“Power of the Pacific”). Guests will experience the customs and flavors of some of the major islands of the Polynesian Triangle including Hawai‘i, Samoa, New Zealand and Tonga.

Dinner will be served in the Hixson Union Building from 5-6:30 p.m., followed by the performance in the fieldhouse.

General admission tickets for both the dinner and performance are $35, and children ages 5 and younger are free. Tickets for the performance only are $25 for adults, $10 for seniors (65-plus), $8 for ages 6-12, and $15 for Whitworth students. Whitworth students with meal plans should purchase a performance-only ticket, as they can use their meal plan to attend the dinner.

Find more information and purchase tickets online. If tickets are still available on the day of the event, they may also be purchased at the door. Please email nnewman25@my.whitworth.edu if you have any questions.
