Whitworth Theatre Presents the Critically Acclaimed "Almost, Maine"
February 19, 2019
Whitworth Theatre will stage its spring production, Almost, Maine, on March 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m., and March 10 and 17 at 2 p.m. The performances will take place in Cowles Auditorium at Whitworth University.
The collection of vignettes by John Cariani all occur at the same time on the same night in the same small town of Almost, Maine.
The play welcomes audiences to witness the residents engage with the magic of love. With a delicate blend of humor and heart, realism and absurdity, Almost, Maine asks theatregoers to consider the wonder of love. Performed by a rotating cast of actors, each performance promises to be a unique experience.
Almost, Maine was selected by the American National Theatre as one of the most outstanding regional theatre productions of the 2004-05 season and was featured in New Playwrights: The Best Plays of 2006.
