Whitworth Named to Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s Transfer Honor Roll for Third Consecutive Year
The Transfer Honor Roll is determined by 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students including: college cost and financial aid, campus life for transfers, admission practices and bachelor’s degree completion.
Selection is based on analysis from the National Student Clearinghouse and on data submitted through the four-year institution’s profile on PTK Connect. The Transfer Honor Roll is chosen from among the top 25 percent highest-rated colleges.
Whitworth’s admissions team offers a simplified application process, transfer-credit evaluations and visit opportunities tailored to transfer students. Combined with personalized attention from a transfer admissions counselor, transfer students are set up for success during the application process and beyond.
“Students every year choose to transfer to Whitworth for a variety of reasons, from a variety of other colleges and into a variety of academic majors,” says Greg Orwig, Whitworth’s vice president for admissions & student financial services. “Once they arrive, transfer students find the same welcoming community, personal advising from faculty, and support in achieving their professional goals that Whitworth is known for. We appreciate and value the way transfer students enrich our campus community.”
