Whitworthians Head Out to Serve for Community Building Day

Whitworthians will head out into the community on Wednesday, Sept. 27, to continue the tradition of Community Building Day. This year, faculty and students will meet at the Fieldhouse at 7:20 a.m. and take buses to several locations where they’ll volunteer their time for four hours.

The Whitworth Office of Church Engagement will host pastor and writer Meredith Miller on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Whitworth Church from 10 a.m.-noon for a parenting workshop focused on nurturing faith in young children.

U.S. News & World Report, in its 2024 Best Colleges Rankings, has named Whitworth University No. 1 (tie) in Best Undergraduate Teaching among regional universities in the West.  This is the second year in a row Whitworth has earned the top spot.
