Whitworth Ranks in Military Times’ Top Ten for “2023 Best for Vets: Colleges”
Military Times’ “Best for Vets: Colleges” is the largest and most comprehensive annual ranking of schools for military service members and veterans. This year, 325 schools made the list. Whitworth placed 139th on the nationwide list.
Each year, the survey is sent to colleges and universities across the U.S. The survey results are then analyzed, along with public data from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs.
“It’s an honor for Whitworth to be recognized as a university that values our military-connected students,” says Phil Labrie, associate director for military & veterans outreach. “We strive to provide a safe space and learning environment that distinguishes the selfless sacrifices of our military-connected students. These sacrifices have helped preserve our great nation, and as a university we want all those who have served and their families to know that Whitworth welcomes you to our university.”
These rankings look at services available to veterans and practical information that will help veterans make important decisions about their career planning and how to use the education benefits they earned through military service. The 2023 rankings can be found here.
