Whitworth University will host a peer evaluation team commissioned by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) to conduct a comprehensive accreditation visit Oct. 1-3, 2025. This Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness (EIE) review is a mandatory part of the standard seven-year accreditation cycle.
Whitworth President Scott McQuilkin has announced that John Pell, Ph.D., has been appointed provost & executive vice president. Pell began serving as interim provost in May 2024 under a two-year appointment. His transition into the permanent role is effective immediately.
